Pipes freezing and bursting in the mechanical room and no visual of what the temperature is in this area!
One of our National Restaurant customers, who has EVIA systems installed, was having this issue in their northern restauants and contacted EKTOS for a solution.
Our Solution was:
1. Installing a sensor in the mechanical room so our customers would know what the temperature is at all times
2. Created an alarm to alert our customer if the temperature reading in the mechanical room drops below 35’ or more for 60 minutes
3. Included historical graphing for the mechanical room sensor
4. Added visual to the EVIA screen at the restaurant so in –house staff can see the temperature in this area and an alarm on the sensor if one occurs
5. Support through our 1-800 helpdesk number to answer any questions our customers or their technician have
